Inspiron 17R 5720 Processor Upgrade
Hello All, does anyone knows what are the CPU socket specifications for Dell Inspiron 17R 5720 motherboard?. I'm looking to have my processor upgraded from the current Intel Core i3-2370M 2.40GHz to any of the available Core i5 or i7, but I'm not sure which one will fit on my motherboard.
Any help will be much appreciated.

The best CPU you can upgrade to is an Intel Core i7-3632QM. The Inspiron 17R 5720 uses a rPGA 989 CPU socket.
