Inspiron 3580 core i7 cpu microcode updates
Inspiron 3580
I am running windows 11 pro as the main OS. I also have a couple of Linux vm's in Virtualbox. All these Linux vm's show on bootup that there are spectre vulnerabilities in my processor. My windows is completely up to date and dell update doesn't show any availble updates. I managed to download the intel processor identification utility. It shows cpu id 806EC and revision F0. Do I have the latest micro code updates? If not, how do I update them because dell update doesn't show anything? It's a core i7 cpu. It looks like intel only allows businesses to post in their forums. I also posted in the virtualbox and microsoft forums but couldn't get any help. I couldn't find anything useful on google.

Microcode updates are part of the system firmware -- the latest of which is dated January, 2023. Make sure you have the latest firmware update installed.
