Inspiron 5415, persistent, intermittent connectivity issues

Has anyone else experienced daily and sometimes more frequent internet connectivity issues whereby the wi-fi connection drops out? It only happens on my Dell Inspiron 5415 Laptop, no other devices lose the wifi connection. Error messages say things like "network change detected" or "network interruption" or problems with the gateway.
Sometimes it drops off just briefly and it re-connects automatically otherwise when selecting the diagnostic tool it re-boots the network adaptor, and the wifi connection comes back online.
Have spent hours with the Dell Technical Support over several months in trying to rectify this. Nord VPN has been switched off during this period to rule that out.
Frustrating so say the least.
