I have the same problem, Dell said my laptop screen was broken even it was in its original Dell bag and we suspect some kind of bad assembled part was done from factory. The result is no warranty for repairment and I have my computer with a monitor.

So, wouldn't be nice that Dell directly sell or at least point at a technical service on each country as a kind way of taking care about customers day by day problems?
