Inspiron 6000, need faster mini PCI intel wifi card
I have an older laptop and I want to upgrade from G to at least N or AC protocol wifi by replacing the wifi card. I will be installing linux. Is there a Intel card that will work in 6000 with faster speed?, which model?

The system uses a standard mini-PCIe wifi card (note that this is not the now common M.2/NGFF format). Beyond that requirement, anything you choose should work, subject to drivers being available for your chosen card.

is there a particular model of Intel card that will work AC protocol preferred, but if not N??
