Inspiron 7559 Audio crackling noise
Hi,
I've been having a crackling/popping noise issue on my Inspiron 15 7559 whenever an audio or video is played. The crackling noise is heard after a few minutes of playing any media on both offine and online.This noise remains with both headphones and through the external speakers.
I tried unintsalling and reinstalling most of the comaptible drivers in the support assist to resolve the issue and visited many sites but it didn't help.
Hopefully someone finds a fix to this.
System specs: Windows 10, i7 2.60 Ghz, 16 GB RAM, 128 GB SSD + 1 TB HDD, Nvidia Geforce GTX 960M

I don't know how this worked but uninstalling Dell Support Assist application solved the audio crackling issue. The irony is that the application which is supposed to fix problems was the root of this. Please fix this application.

Adno,
Below are troubleshooting steps and information. First, click the link here and update the system bios.
v.Check if the sampling rate and BITS strength is not too high, exceeding the capacity of the headphones and speakers (Device Manager Playback Default Device Properties Advanced - 16 BITS, 48000 Hz);
vi.Make sure that the Microphone of the system is not turned on and playing in the background;
vii.For some computers with built-in Subwoofers, playing different types of audio with severe bass or bass boost may generate a noise similar to popping in the speaker. To resolve, simply access: Playback Devices Default Device Properties Level Internal Subwoofer and reduce the total to +/- 60.

I'm afraid not. I've tried running most of the diagnostics and tried the settings mentioned but it didn't help.

Adno,
Did you finish running the diags on the system? If so, what were the results? Did the settings information provided help resolve the issue?

I have done all the diagnostics and installed most of the compatible drivers but still the issue persists. I have been contacting dell support regarding this issue but still it's unresolved. It has been a MONTH now. Worst experience ever.
