Usually with a BSOD an error code is displayed. If you are able to post that code it would help. Also do you have any problems when using a different web browser? And if you have error codes from Brave it would help to post those as well. Of course it is possible that there is some incompatibility between the old RAM module and the new one. Generally the best way to upgrade RAM is with a kit of 2 or 4 matched modules depending on the system specs.

Thank you for responding, the problem was surprisingly the RAM itself, I ran memtest86 and it returned errors, so I had to dispose it.
