Inspiron G3, numeric keypad issues

Question

My numeric keypad in my dell G3 laptop is working in a different way suddenly.. For example the enter key write 97 instead of moving to next line.. The 7 botton writes 9 instead of 7 The 1 botton writes 100  The dot. Botton write a complete equation!  Any help?

If the problem does not appear with an external keyboard, then there is a physical problem with the keyboard and it needs to be replaced.   .
