The battery issue is likely that the battery is end of life and needs to be replaced;  it's three years old, so that's not unexpected.

For the blue screens, check the event viewer or parse the crash dump logs with something like WhoCrashed (the free version works fine) so you can see what caused the problem.

I honestly think these batteries are getting worse and worse bcs my sister has a Toshiba Satellite from at least 2014 and the battery is crazy good and we have never replaced it. As i said, the apps keep freezing so i cant install anything.

The batteries are about the same as they were, with the exception that they're largely enclosed in a plastic envelope rather than a steel shell as in the past.

The systems keep getting smaller, running hotter and draw ever more power -- which in turn stresses the battery far more than in the past. All else equal, a mid-sized car with a low-stressed V6 engine will see longer engine life than today's mid-sizers with 4 (or even 3) cylinder turbocharged engines of 1.5 L or even less.

Start with a Full Hardware Diagnostics

Reboot to F12 and choose Diagnostics, Once test is finished run the extended Test as well.

Test are passed and If the computer is inoperable to troubleshoot and than I would recommend reinstalling OS.

UPDATE: uninstalled apps, system is working normally. Checked with the power manager, battery is almost at the end of life. Buying one from BattDepot. Thanks for your suggestions!
