Inspiron n5010 3 beeps & black screen
My Inspiron N5010 makes three beeps when I start it, and shows no display. Even the system light doesn't light up. i have changed the memory chips but no avail. Anyone knows what I should do?

3 beeps is a motherboard chipset error. It could be a motherboard problem but it could be a CMOS battery (coin cell) problem. Replacing the CMOS battery is a bit of a teardown and not for the faint of heart. Considering the age of the system and the charges involved if a tech does the job, you may want to consider replacing the system with a new, faster, much more powerful computer.

A video, and it would involve up to the point where the motherboard is removed.
