Introduction and First Question

Hi, yesterday I purchased an Inspiron 51.6" Dell.  I bought it because of its light weight and slim profile. It will be used for photo and video work during our (my wife and I) travels.

My first question is what capacity thumb drive will I need to run the initial recovery data?

Yes, that is the way of the future.  Just backing up the Windows 10 OS requires about 3 GB, so if all you're creating is the OS reinstall,  you could get by with a smaller drive.

A 64GB thumb drive should be sufficient.

Thanks Robert.  It's been a while since I purchased a computer from a retail source, and I forgot that manufacturers no longer include the boot disk info with the product.
