* What Inspiron Laptop model?
* What BIOS update did you install?
* What issue were you trying to correct by installing the BIOS update?
* Connect an external USB keyboard to the Laptop USB port. Boot into the BIOS. Using the external keyboard, can you navigate in the BIOS?

It's not laptop. It's PC Dell XPS and BIOS is new one I don't remember. I can't use my keyboard after update BIOS. I pressed F2 or F12 but I can't use keyboard after I pressed that too.

What is the PC service tag number? What BIOS version did you install? By the way, you posted on the Inspiron Laptop board?

What happened to the rest of this thread? This has happened to my computer and I just created this stupid account to try to read more but it appears to be missing. I have a desktop dell bios revision 1.0.15 and after turning it off and back on again I am stuck at a screen with f2 for setup and f12 for boot menu. the keyboard doesn't work, yes it's a logitech plugged into one of the usb ports on the back of the tower. no there isn't a laptop in sight, this is just the only google result for this issue so I guess we're all posting it on a laptop board for some reason.
