Without a crystal ball, no one can help.

What model Inspiron?  That is, 3593, 5556, etc. -- check the setup screen, F2 at powerup.

What is the exact model of the RAM you have installed?

Re-seat both RAM modules with the computer completely off, unplugged, and with the battery disconnected and see if the problem goes away.

Also, are both RAM modules rated at the same speed? Mixing modules with different speeds and sometimes different brands may cause problems, and may even prevent the computer from operating in the more efficient dual channel memory mode. This is why most RAM upgrade kits come in pairs to ensure complete compatibility.

Sometimes, the PC keeps freezing after installing new RAM issue can be because you have inserted the RAMs in the wrong slots. This is common on PCs with 4 slots. You need to check the motherboard documentation to know the pair slots to use.
