Laptop is unresponsive
I have an Inspiron 5402/5409 and suddenly there is no response when I try to power it up; the white charging light on the laptop also doesn’t light up but I do see the green light on the AC adaptor. I tried all diagnostics test like holding the power button for 20-30 sec with the laptop plugged in and not plugged in, etc. I had this issue a month ago but when the service tech came by it powered on for him and he said I just had low battery and his tests say that all hardwares are fine. But I don’t understand because I kept the laptop plugged in the whole time and even tried different outlets around the house.
Could this be a motherboard issue? Even before it became unresponsive a month ago my laptop would randomly restart after it’s been in sleep mode

Remove the battery.
Try using just AC adapter.

Please run a complete hardware diagnostics to confirm there is no part failure.
To enter diagnostics, Keep tapping F12 on the startup Dell logo that comes as soon you press the power button.
Select "Diagnostics" from the list, Run it completely and let us know if it passes, Else please reply with the Error message and validation code, we shall take it further.

It’s an internal battery so I cannot remove
Laptop is unresponsive; it won’t start up so I can’t do a diagnostic test
