Need to unplug keyboard

About 6 months ago I had to start using a USB keyboard as the on board had basically stopped working. I just plugged in and a keyboard and have used it like I said about 6 months.

But in the last week or so I have had a new problem show up. Any time I start typing, I have various and random menu's open (start setting {or sub-menu} or context possibly others I don't remember)  in the beginning it was just annoying, but now sometimes it's every 1 or 2 letters. Then there will be anywhere from 1 to 6 menus open at once, close all that, hit two letters, and close all again.

So if I could get a picture with one of those red arrows, I would appreciate it.

The service manual for the 3793 is on this page and the keyboard cable is labeled #3 on page 77. Also this YouTube video will help as it clearly shows the cable connector above the battery. The picture of the motherboard below clearly has the keyboard plug labeled as KB naturally.

Good news and bad news. First let me say thank you @JOcean  I do appreciate your knowledge, and your work tracking down what you did,, and posting all the stuff you did. I do appreciate it, and your work is not lost on me.

Now for the bad news, the pic posted here, is what I was hoping to get, something with a label on it,  but this pic is not correct. (edit: let me correct myself here, it is probably right, and I'm looking at it from the wrong angle, so that's probably my bad, please do not be offended, I take responsibility for being a dumb a---) The manual pg 77 does clearly show it, but it;s not labeled, so it didn't help. I then went to the video, and yes it does show it, but there is no label, and no speaking, so still not help. Not your fault, I just needed a good map and somke labels.

for the good news, i just let YT  auto play the next video, since I just didn't think to stop it;. It was about uprading ram, but the guy went through after getting the back off, and pointed out and told what each plug is. That told me what I needed to know. So even though that wasn't what you suggested, I would not have found it without your help, so I'm giving  you credit for finding it .Your effort is not lost on me, and I do appreciate it.
