New Dell has Hiccups
I have a new Dell Inspiron W11 15-5510 (build 22000-6.1.3). I lost my internet connection and had to call Dell. It eventually got resolved. But in the process he had me (well he did it remotely) do a bunch of Dell Updates and he installed some stuff. My computer has now become sluggish; slowing down, taking longer, etc. I suspect bloatware from Dell. Can I get some opinions about these items in my Control Panel Programs/Features:
- Dell SupportAssist
- Dell SupportAssist OS Recovery Plugin For Dell Update
- Dell SupportAssist Remediation
- Dell Update for Windows Universal
Also – and maybe more importantly – there is this Dell Data Vault that suddenly appeared. It is definitely doing stuff but it is not listed in the control panel. This might be a cause of some of my computer woes. It's also listed (with variations) 3 times in services (running). I've stopped that. I see via google the advice to delete the Dell Data Vault folder. Suggestions? As an update I can shut it off in services, but within a day it's back running. There are 3 "DDV" programs. I can delete them, change the names, or just delete the entire DDV folder *C/Program files/dell/delldatavault."

My original state is W11.
What I have seems to work very well without Dell Data Vault.
If we want to live with what we have then we don't need support groups

If it was me, I'd do a clean installation of Windows 11.
Your choice.

At the moment, all is working fine. Before I did a fresh W11 installation, I would restore from one of my backups (I do Macrium image backups and there is one a couple of days before the problem happened).
