No Bootable Devices Found
So my 1 year warranty just ran out on my Dell G7 7590 about 2 weeks ago and today I had quite the scare. After updating the BIOS using SupportAssist, my laptop had the error message on the boot SupportAssist saying there were no bootable devices found.
Upon further inspection through boot menus I found that my SSD boot drive was not showing up. I tried resetting settings to last know good settings and the BIOS default but neither of those worked to bring my computer back from the dead. Finally, I unplugged all peripherals except for the power cable and an ethernet jack and it booted just fine.
I'm posting this because I want to know if anyone else has run into this kind of problem and know what the real problem might be. Thanks in advance!
See below for my list of specs and peripherals:
Dell G7 15" 7590
RAM: 16 GB
GPU: NVidia RTX 2060 6GB
CPU: Intel i7-9750H
SSD: 256 GB
HD: 1 TB
Peripherals:
Logitech G502 SE mouse, G432 headset, G213 keyboard, Kootek cooling mat, Samsung 27" CRG5 240Hz monitor.

Hi, you might have better luck posting this in the Inspiron forums as it suits that laptop build type better.

You have a bad boot drive. that's why it isn't detected.

Hello there!
Were you able to solve this issue?
It is happening intermittently to me after I upgraded the SSD from SATA to NVME, not sure how to solve it, I've tried several BIOS configs (Including changing the BOOT to UEFI), and keeps happening.
I also have a Dell G7.
