No Microphone Audio - Dell G7
Hi all,
I have a Dell G7.
I'm having an issue trying to use a microphone on my laptop - Just speaking normally when opening a recording app or plugging in headphones with a microphone won't record or transfer any audio for me.
Any idea's on how to fix it?

Headset model ??
Which G7 model ?? Dell G7 17 7700 ??
It has a single 3.5 mm combo jack, so not all headsets would work?
Do sound work fine ?
Headphone Jack requires WaveMaxx to function.
1. Open Task manager > Start up > Enable WaveMaxx
2 Open Run > MSCONFIG > Services > Both Realtek and WaveAudio should be checked
3. Settings > Privacy > Background apps > WaveMaxx should be enabled
Reboot
In case WaveMaxx is missing from above locations. Please reinstall Audio Drivers.

Open the app, click "Device advanced settings", retask the analog jack as shown in screenshot.
