hey hey hey . please stop saying this stupid thing . I just bought it before 5 days how can there be dust inside my fan . dell has provided i5 11 gen h series processor but only 1 fan which I think is not enough to cool the laptop. I use it on table in front of table fan then also it got heat
I have contacted dell they just told me to do software update. though it has not solved my problem 100% ,but yes it has reduced my heating issue at some extent.

keep updating your system i.e, update your windows , go and type in menu "check for updates" and update all the remaining updates and keep updating your laptop time to time .
I wonder how we can put a review on the web and save other users from buying the Inspiron 5 series laptops. I purchased this one too and had overheating and restarting issue from day 3. After a month of arguing, they replaced it with another laptop. This one had the same issue after 2 weeks. Overheats and restarts even when there's no application running. When we contact support, I guess it's the same set of ineffective suggestions they give. It only gets worse and I think Dell must recall these models.
Just got out of the chat with the support team and searched the community to find that there are more people with the same issue.
@Alexblaze ... can you post the BIOS version that you have updated ??? If not, then which software update are you referring to that fixed your problem ???
