If you didn't put a password then leave it blank, if someone else did put in a password get that password from them?

If you can't find the password then you'll have to work with Dell Support to recover.

To get this information you need to log on to support, enter your model number and most importantly Enter your Service Tag Number.

That will open all the hardware information on your Particular notebook, You should download and read your Service Manual there you will find out how to open your notebook

I don't need to open my Dell Inspiron, I need instructions to unlock the BIOS password.

Could be any number of reasons, but if they cannot unlock the system, you'll need to replace the mainboard.

I communicated with DELL assistance, they sent me 2 probable passwords, which, according to them, had to solve the problem, why didn't they solve it?
