Please help, weird keyboard mapping problem.

Hi All

I've been given an old Inspiron 1545 to do a bit of work on from home during the current crisis. It has been wiped and is running windows vista.

The problem I have though is whenever I press the number 1 key it acts like I'm pressing the windows key and opens the start menu. I've had a google and tried a few options which included turning off number lock on the virtual keyboard but unfortunately that didn't help.

Does anyone have any ideas please? I know its an old laptop and I've checked for latest drivers on the Dell site which says everything is fine.
