Precision 3541 video card issue

Hi I have a Precision 3541 laptop and a D3100 DisplayLink docking station. When I plug in 1 monitor to it, it works fine and I see it in settings. When I plug in 2 monitors, it also works fine and i see it in settings. When I plug in a 3rd monitor, Windows no longer sees the monitors correctly. I believe it is an issue with this laptop having both Intel and NVIDIA graphics cards. Any ideas? Dell chat support told me my docking station was bad which is not accurate, because I can plug in a several years old XPS and Latitude and 3 monitors works just fine.
