Problem with firmware update

When I started my computer this morning it went to a Dell support assist screen. It said updating firmware system BioS with BioS guard. First I said no problems found. Gave me the option to click on shutdown or depress escape both of those shut down my computer and when I restart it goes back to Dell support assist. Now it says a red x no bootable devices found and it comes up every time I try to start my computer.
