Questions Related to Windows Clean Install.

Hi,
I Recently purchased Dell G15 5525 Laptop, it came with Windows 11 Home installed,
I want to remove Windows 11 Home and do a clean install of any of these windows:
(Windows 10 Pro/ Windows 11 Pro/ Windows 11 Home [whichever I find working best for me I will stick to that one])

My questions are:
1. Will removing the original pre-installed Windows 11 Home void my laptop's warranty?
2. Will Dell still support me with my laptop in the future if I face any hardware/software problems after the clean install?

It would be prudent to stay with Windows 11, since your system came with 11. Downgrading to Windows 10 may find some hardware lacking full driver support. You can upgrade to Windows 11 Pro if you want the extra features it includes, such as Bitlocker and Group Policy.

You won't void your warranty. However, if you ever need Dell support, they may insist that you first reinstall the original OS. That may be less likely if it's just an upgrade from Win11 Home to Pro, and more likely if it's Win10. I advise that you create a full backup image (using a tool such as Acronis or Macrium) now of the original state. That way you can easily restore that image if Dell Support asks you to use the original OS.

Thank you for the information. Please allow me a few minutes.
(After 1 or 2 mins)
Now let me answer your questions:
1. Removing the original pre-installed Windows 11 Home won't void your laptop's warranty if you still have Windows as Operating system.
2. We will still support you with your laptop in the future if I you face any hardware/software problems after the clean install, if you still have Windows as Operating system.

Me:
So, it doesn't matter if the OS is Windows 11 or 10 it should be Windows right?

Team Member:
That's right

Me:
Oh, that's great thank you so much

Team Member:
