RAM - Hardware Reserved issue
Hi Dell Community team and members.
I have a new Dell Inspiron 15 3505 with 1TB HDD, 8GB RAM, AMD Ryzen 3 3250U Mobile Processor with Radeon TM Graphics, Windows 10 Home Single Language. When I opened and using it, it shows me usable RAM approximately 7.2 GB RAM but when I installed Windows 11 from Windows update, it went to 5.9GB. Immediately contacted Microsoft Team for help and they suggested me to contact dell team as it only solved by them. Then I contacted Dell Support team, and they took remote session to check with the issue. By that time my laptop went to direct force shutdown. This force shutdown occurs when the RAM usage reached its maximum (means if the usage reached 5.9GB). I have tried all methods suggested from support team, and none of them are worked. I asked service agent to change the RAM to another slot when I received a service to replace my keyboard. He told me that if slot changing is not worked then install the BIOS version to solve this.
Here my request, please add an option to change how much RAM can be used to graphic purpose in BIOS settings. This will help most of the people to resolve the issue.
Thanks in advance.

The easiest thing to do, is upgrade your computer's memory to 16GB.
See Dell memory specification in link below.:
Inspiron 3505 Setup and Specifications | Dell US
Crucial com says your computer supports 32GB memory. You can do a lot with 32GB of memory installed in your computer.

Is there any way to change hardware reserved memory from 2.1GB to 100MB-800MB.
