Randomly refreshes when plugged in

Question

So i bought this inspiron with an i3 and hd4400 graphics. I have this problem whenever im plugged in where im playing games and suddenly everything stops and my screen goes blank for a second and goes back but my programs are now lagged in place so i have to restart them and resume wherever ive left off. When its running on battery however it doesn't seem to have this problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Please clear & reset windows store cache with WSReset.exe command. Right click windows logo, click Command Prompt(Admin), type WSReset.exe onto the command prompt. Windows Store will open and you’ll get a conformation message saying that: The cache for the Store was cleared.

Or

Type Troubleshooting Control Panel onto the [Cortana] search box, 'View All', and then run windows store apps troubleshooter.
