Recovery error 0xc0000221 on Inspiron 5458

Question

Hi, I own Inspiron 5458. Bought in Singapore & being used in India. Last week I encountered following message when i start the laptop on blue screen - RECOVERY The OS couldn't be located because the kernel is missing or contains errors File:\windows\system32
toskrnl.exe error code: 0xc0000221 Press Enter Press F1 Press F8 Press Esc None of these options work! The service center advises to take the laptop to Vendor in Singapore! Can someone help please.

Hi, Thank you for your suggestion. Now the issue is settled. Since the suggestion was implemented by my daughter, I can't particularly say, which of the options worked. Nevertheless, the laptop is back to normal use condition, which is very much appreciated. best regards, Srinivasa Reddy M

You may have to reinstall Windows as it sounds like Windows system files may be corrupt.
