Requesting a replacement
Dear sir/madam,
On 20th August 2019, I bought a Dell laptop from the
Alawathugoda Singer branch. During the first few months,a clicking sound started to appear
and I had to return my laptop for repair on 03rd January 2020.It took more than two weeks to
finish repairing ( they said harddisk was replaced) which caused lots of problems for me because I missed lots of online lectures.And next repair occurred on 07th October 2020 and I returned it immediately as I was having online lectures due to the second wave of covid-19.This also took almost a week and the replacement was the motherboard. Just after i got my laptop from that repair a keyboard malfunction occurred while it was testing in the shop.so i had to return it again to colombo for repairing and they replaced the keyboard.
As I informed from the service center in Colombo, there was no repair documented about
the first repair and the motherboard replacement was the documented first repair of this laptop.
Since the first repair was a fraud, the second repair is the motherboard replacement and the third repair has occurred,I'm within my rights to request a replacement for this faulty product as soon as possible.If I do not get a fair solution, I'll forward my complaint to higher authorities for further advice and I will not hesitate to stop paying the left payment that I've to payoff.

On reviewing the system details further, the system is shipped with a service centre warranty and do not have a direct service at your location, and rely on the service partners to assist in part replacement.
