SD Card Reader Not Showing Up In Device Manager
Hi, all.
I've had my Dell Inspiron 15 Gaming 5577 laptop for five years now and only needed to use the SD Card Reader once - last night. The SD card is not the problem. I've tried multiple cards, aside from the one I want to grab files from. All of them work on other machines in my house that are equipped with card readers. None of them are showing up in File Explorer on the 5577 laptop. The Card Reader is not displayed anywhere in Device Manager whatsoever on this machine.
Anyone know what might be causing this? Every other port on the laptop works just fine. I don't know what device drivers I need for this reader, either. It's not showing up in the Disk Management application, either. Thoughts?

Have you tried to install the memory card reader driver from the support site here?

Nothing reflected in Disk Management, Device Manager, or File Explorer. Same situation as before.

Yes, I installed the driver and restarted the laptop. No change.
