Hello,
I have a dell laptop model G3 17 3779 and i would like to know if its motherboard is compatible with SSD type M.2 and NVMe.

Yes, it will take an NVMe M.2 drive. That said, if your system doesn't currently have one, open it and check -- a mounting plate and screw are required to secure the drive. That hardware may not be present in systems that ship without an M.2 drive
