My wife's 7591 has a similar issue. When the machine comes back from sleep, the touchpad ceases to work. In fact, checking the Device Manager reveals that there is a warning over the HID device for the touchpad. The only solution that I've found that works is to uninstall it and force the machine to recheck for PnP hardware changes. It only started doing this recently.
What gives? This is frustrating for both of us! The machine has been fine otherwise.
Did you find any solution for this? Facing the exact same issue for a while now. Contacted dell support but even they couldnt solve it! It's very irritating!
