Screen is not working

Hi guys,

I bought this product 1,5 year ago and a month ago screen just stopped working. I have tried external screen with HDMI cable and its totaly fine, everything is working. I can play games and work as usual. When I try to take out the HDMI my screen is still not working.I don't think there is a problem with the video card as the laptop runs smoothly on another screen. I think the problem is the screen. Dell is not helping as it is out of warranty. What would you suggest I do and what do you think is the problem? Do you think the cost would be too high?

There could be a software fault, please watch No Video Troubleshooting Steps (Official Dell Tech Support) - YouTube. Visit Device Manager to see if video driver has fault. 

Please shine bright light at angle to laptop screen to see if there is a very faint image of what is being displayed on external TV or monitor. If there is a faint image, the screen backlight has failed, and a replacement screen assembly is required.

Turn off the computer. Disconnect any devices that are connected to the computer, and connect the AC Adapter (charger). Ensure that the LCD screen is clean (no dust particles are on the surface of the screen). Press and hold the D key and turn on the computer to enter the LCD built-in self-test (BIST) mode.01-
