Sound recording issues

When running Microsoft teams with screen recording software on my dell Inspiron 14 5410 2-in-1 laptop, there is huge noise with audio with the final recording product. I have tried with different OS like MS Windows 10 and MS Windows 11. But same issues existed.

As per our understanding it seems that the internal microphone and the internal speakers of the system are not functioning , please follow the given steps :

Request you to update the audio drivers form the following link: http://dell.to/LzfIrZ

Also check under the control panel, Sound and Audio setting the default device is not empty, if it is select the appropriate device.

Hopefully that will help you to get this issue resolved, however if it doesn't work would request you to reply with the following info.

Since how long have you been facing this problem?

Was there any update /new sotware that was installed on the system?

Is it only not working online or its not working even if you use any playback music and recording?

First, I appreciate your response.

I’ll explain my issue again.

  1. When recording software (Tuneskit screen recorder) is running alone (without MS Teams) the recording has no noise which means output is ok.
  2. When MS Teams is running alone (without screen recorder) there is no noise.
  3. Music playback (both online and offline) is perfectly fine.

According to this result, I suppose that Speaker and Mic of the system working properly.

But, both tools are running at the same time, considerable noise is generated, and  recorded.

I have tested various test scenarios as follows.

  1. Change the screen recording software (aTube Catcher, Camtasia Studio) with MS Teams.
  2. Use Zoom instead of MS Teams with recording softwares.
  3. Try above scenarios on Windows 10 (21H2 – Latest update) and Windows 11 (21H2) and with Windows 11 (22H2).
  4. All the required drivers are downloaded and installed manually form the Dell official page (https://www.dell.com/support/home/en-us/product-support/product/inspiron-14-5410-2-in-1-laptop/drivers).
  5. Update all the drivers through “Dell Support Assistance” software.
  6. All the drivers are updated through Windows updates.

But unfortunately, all test scenarios give same result. Noise is always there.
