Support Technical Support
Dear officer,
I hope you are doing well.
My issue is that I bought a Dell Laptop 15R 5521 in India in 2013.
That time it was equipped with Genuine Windows 7.
Then after some time it keeps on to upgrade to Windows 10. I was dismissing the notification each time. But in the last few days it got forcefully upgraded to windows 10.
Now the problem is that it is asking to enter the product key.
Then I contacted Dell Service support last day a few times. For the first 2 hours, different assistants over the phone were diverting me to different numbers and what was funny is one of the assistants was giving me the number which I was talking to her on.
Nevermind, then one of the assistance told me to talk to a local service technician to sort out this issue.
Now let me know if I have paid Dell for the services then why would I go to some local technician for help or is it the Dell policy to only sell products not the service.
Now let me know if I have to go to some local technician for this problem ?
It seems that I had the worst decision to buy a Dell laptop.
Regards

This post is laughable.
The OP's warranty expired in October 30, 2014, and he expect warranty service on May 4, 2021 --- seven (7) years later.

There are no "forced upgrades" to Windows 10 - and any true upgrade will simply automatically activate using the existing Windows 7 installation (assuming it is activated).
This is a 7-8 year old system on which support is pay-per-incident -- either you pay Dell for a support incident, or pay a local repair shop to assist you.
If the system shipped with Windows 7, there is a product key on the base of the system (or if the battery is removeable, it's under the battery). Beyond that, you'll need to purchase a Windows 10 license key (or uninstall the existing copy, which will restore Windows 7).
