TB16 Docking Station Firmware Update MST2 failure, Current version 0.0.0f7

Question

I've have a Dell G3 3779 laptop connected to a TB 16 Docking Station. I've been having issues with my setup lately and I believe it has something to do with my docking station. I've tried this solution but it does not work.           I've tried this solution below but it does not work. I believe I was running the update from my pc. The firmware update utility was seeing daisy-chained DisplayPort monitors (DP 1.2 mode).  Issue was resolved by removing all accessories from the dock and running the update directly from the laptop. Can someone guide me through this? Thanks Gerard
