TaoTronics Bluetooth Transmitter/Multiple Bluetooth Headsets

So I don't have a TV just yet, (saving for one). Anyway, my friend and I want to be able to pair multiple Bluetooth headsets to my laptop to watch movies together. I bought a TaoTronics Bluetooth transmitter/splitter. I'm able to pair the Tao Tronics Bluetooth to my laptop and able to connect my Sony headset with bluetooth. But now I want to pair my friend's Bluetooth headset to watch a movie on VLC, Windows Media Player, wherever at the same time. But my efforts have been unsuccessful. What am I doing wrong? Is the TaoTronics Bluetooth unable to pair both headsets simultaneously? Or is the Media Player being used the problem?  The TaoTronics Bluetooth seems to pair other devices fine. What can be done so that we can pair both headsets and listen to the audio on two separate headsets? My laptop doesn't have an audio output, just an 3.5mm input. Someone please help?
