Is this wired or wireless? If wireless check the battery in the keyboard.
Check the device manager and see what the status is for the keyboard. See if it shows an error code or if its shown working OK. If it shows working OK, uninstall the keyboard in the Device Manager and then restart the PC and if all goes OK Windows will detect and reinstall it.
The Device Manager can be accessed with RIGHT click the start Window (lower left).
