Unable to setup BIOS
I bought my Inspiron 5493 in September 2000. I tried and was unable to set up with my BIOS sign in. A Dell Technician also tried and unable to set up with my BIOS sign in. I have no issue to sign in my Iphone with same feature. When I called Dell Support 800-624-9896 twice, I was told that he couldn't understand me or hear me. I work in a U.S. office for 40 years, and I turned my phone to the maximum volume and put it one inch in front of my mouth.

It isn't clear exactly what you're trying to do - set a system password, perhaps?
That's done through Setup (F2 at powerup).

I try to setup sign in using my fingerprint instead of a PIN. After the setup when I signed in the next time, the laptop does not recognize my fingerprint.
