If you could think of any other information you could supply, it might help.  Such as, what type of indications are you showing on the Task Manager performance tab?  Such as network speeds or Processor or drive utilization.

You are referring to a time when the system is actively being used?

CPU utillization is around 20% - 80% (mostly around 35%) and Speed around 3.80 GHz while listening to Spotify for example.

Network speed is 48.47 Mbps.

The following is a piscture of the main screen in LatencyMon while the audio crashed.

What type of device is the audio interface?  Does a wired headset do the same thing?

Where are you getting the Network speed you indicate?

I am surprised you are having a problem even with Bluetooth headphones.

I have an Inspiron 5577 that I use in my recording studio.  I had to go to an extreme measure of doing a clean install of Win 10 with only needed device drivers and my recording DAW and devices (on a dual boot second drive).

Latency Mon should shown you which process is causing the problems.  However, we have found Dell Support Assist is a known cause of latency and dropouts.  Some antivirus programs can also cause problems and for that reason only use the built in Windows Defender.  Unnecessary start up programs should be disabled.   Finally, I disable internet when using recording apps as that can be a source of problems.  Run Latency Mon (for at least 20 minutes) with Internet enabled and with it disabled and most see a difference.

This is a start for you.

The audio interface is a Focusrite Scarlett Solo 3rd Gen and the headphones Bayerdynamic DT 770 Pro 80 Ohm. As for the Bluetooth i use Samsung Galaxy Buds 2.

I've tried all usb ports and the usb type-c port also.

After trying both in another Dell Laptop i found out that they worked fine, no issue.

A wired headset does have the same problem.

You did not mention if you had seen this link.  I will be checking for whatever uses acpi.sys on my system.  Right now, my latency is fine on a desktop system, haven't checked any laptops yet.

Solved: XPS 15-9570, Windows 10, high DPC latency, acpi.sys - Dell Community

If the Intel Turbo Boost might be involved, you may be able to disable that in the Bios.

If you look at the Device Manager, you might find an ACPI x64 device.  If you select that and then change the view to show by connection, you will see the devices under that heading.  Perhaps you might notice something you could adjust

Thanks again for replying.

i've seen the link abode, tried the 99% cpu to avoid Turbo Boost activation.

Also searched for the ACPI X64 device you mentioned but nothing i can change there.

Through LatencyMon i can only tell the main source of the problem seems to be:

ACPI.sys - ACPI Driver for NT, Microsoft Coorporation since it has a very high execution time.

Currently trying also ThrottleStop to see if it helps but nothing so far.

While spending some time reading seems like a Dell related issue considering other people have the same problem with much higher spec dell laptops.

(Already tried reinstalling windows twice and repair files also)

If i have anything new regarding this issue, i'll let you know.

Thanks

This is what mine shows on an Inspiron 7567 Gaming.  I will need to check for audio problems, but I have never noticed any before.

Note:  When I plugged my system this all disappeared.

Latency is not just a "Dell problem".  I've been doing PC based recording for almost 20 years and Latency issues have been reported in all brands and all recording forums.

Don't just look at the main Latency Mon window.  Also display "Stats" and "Processes" as they get more deeper into what is happening/causing latency.

Also, the message displayed when there is latency is mostly a stock message, not specific to a specific problem.
