What RAM memory for the Dell G5?

Hello, the time has come when I would like to polish my laptop a bit (Dell G5 5587). I decided to expand the RAM memory from 8Gb to 16Gb. However, I read that buying a Dell frame is not such an easy choice. Mainly it is about RAM memory with XMP technology, I would like to install Kingston Impact 2666Mhz CL15, but apparently Dell does not support such memory, at least it was like in previous years. Does anyone know what the situation is today? Has Dell introduced the ability to support such memory through bios updates? Or is it only Crucial bone insertion with a higher delay?
