The Corsair's CAS latency is lower at 16 vs 17.  That means that theoretically it should be a tiny bit faster, but I doubt you would actually notice the difference, and I certainly wouldn't consider that worth the extra cost of the Corsair option.  I personally would go with Crucial.

Can someone confirm that the Corsair Vengeance Performance Memory Kit Unbuffered SODIMM 32 DDR4 2400 MT/s Dram CMSX32GX4M2A2400C16 will work with the mention Dell laptop with the 8th generation i7 CPU?  The Corsair site does not list it as compatible?  Thank you.

If Corsair doesn't list it as compatible, no one else will.  Also check with your vendor to verify its return policy - very few vendors now will take returns without a hefty restocking fee once you open the product.

Crucial guarantees compatibility - Kingston does as well, if you use their memory configurator.  If that's what you're looking for (an ironclad guarantee),look no further.
