Windows 11 update compatible? Inspiron 5570
Dell Article Number 000187485 says that my Inspiron 5570 will be tested for compatibility to the Windows 11 upgrade. Win 11 is here Dell. What's the answer Dell? PC Health check says that my 5570 does NOT meet Win 11 system requirements. It states that TPM is not detected. So what can I do? This laptop has an 8th generation Core i3 and therefore should be compatible with Win 11.
Please help.

@GWizITBiz
Make sure PTT is enabled in your BIOS.
Do you have "Secure Boot" disabled???

That is the list I referred to in my original post. Dell describes that list as "This article lists all Dell computers that will be tested for upgrade to Windows 11".
So the question remains; has Dell tested this laptop? If so, what were the results, and what do I need to do to allow my laptop to pass Microsoft's PC Health test? It does not pass today.

@GWizITBiz
Just to clarify, you had to also "Disable" Secure Boot to start the upgrade???
Or just PTT???

Secure boot was enabled, and I am using UEFI boot mode.
I turned on PTT Security and Voila! My laptop now passes Microsoft's PC Health check and is listed as meeting all requirements for an upgrade to Windows 11.

Did you have to switch to UEFI boot mode? Did you have to reinstall windows after that?
Does this mean the TPM 2.0 is equivalent to the PTT security?

I have Secure Boot Disabled.
How do I convert it from Legacy to UEFI Boot?
When I have it in Legacy, I see a list of drives for booting.
With UEFI, the list is empty and it boots to the SupportAssist.
If I can get it to boot with the UEFI then I can set the PTT to Enabled. (Can't be set with Legacy)
How do I get it to boot after I change it to UEFI?
Thank you.

strange. my DELL INSPRION 5579 (still in the 5570 series) upgraded to windows 11 fine. I Dident have to go into the bios and enable anything. it pretty much did everything for me after a weird fan error.

Yo can enable PTT from BIOS, for this disable legacy boot for ROMs and enable secure boot and PTT. Set boot sequence to UEFI. It worked on my dell inspiron 5570.
