black video playback
I have some strange video problem with my laptop.
When I play a video with VLC (or win10 default player), the video turn black when I plug in my power supply.
I have the same issue with some games if I don't play them windowed, full screen no problem.
Also when I put the video player half out of screen, the video becomes visible again.
When I do the same thing just on battery, everything plays normal.

Most important make sure you are on latest Windows 10 OS build
Start >> RUN >> WINVER : Out put has anything less than 21H2/20H1 you need to download latest windows build. Google windows upgrade assistance and it will install the latest Os build
Once OS is updated.
Download a copy of Both Intel and NVIDIA Drivers and save them on Desktop
Download DDU (display driver uninstaller)
Reboot to safe mode : and wipe both the drivers.
Reboot again to normal mode. Windows will load the drivers for both graphic card. (Internet connection required). You can go to Device manager > Display adapter and confirm both INTEL and Graphic cards showing there. Now perform the tests below and note down out come with a video test.
Test 1 : Do not install the drivers you have saved, test the video on the drivers windows had loaded.
test 2 : Install Intel Drivers first and test the video
test 3 : install the NVIDIA Drivers and Test
Test 4 : From device manager > Display adapter : Right Click intel display card and disable Test the video
Test 5 : Same steps as test 4 with NVIDIA card and test the video
You will fine which card or Driver is the root cause.

The troubleshooting steps below can help resolve common issues. Some symptoms that indicate a display or video issue are:

I don't have any of the above issues.
The black screen is only in the windows of the video player, rest of the screen (windows desktop,...) stays perfect.
I guess it is some software issue/conflict, but I have no idea how to troubleshoot it.

thank you very much, it works now.
- winver: 21H1
- removed display drivers in safe mode with DDU (v18.0.4.3)
- restarted in normal mode (video test: OK)
- windows device manager showed just 2x Microsoft Basis Display Adapter
I justed choose update driver in windows, and the exact same drivers as I had before where installed (Intel HD Graphics 630 v27.20.100.9664 / NVIDIA Geforce GTX 1050 v27.21.14.6231)
- after estarts, video test still OK
-> so I think the DDU driver uninstaller did the trick
