using Active Stylus SPEN-ASU-01 with Inspiron 14 running Linux Ubuntu 22.04
Hello - just got a Inspiron 14 2-in-1 with FHD+. I got an Active Stylus (SPEND-ASU-01) to go along with it thinking it would be compatible but it doesn't seem to work. I've tested just by clicking normal buttons in normal mode and screen-only mode, as well as in Krita but no dice.
It's possible this just isn't compatible, but that would be a bummer, but does anyone know if this may be, or if there are libraries to support stylus's of this type?
Finally, if not, can someone point me to what stylus I should get for an Inspiron 14 running Linux?
Thanks!

First thing we need is the exact system model number -- Inspiron 1401, 1493, etc. Not all 2-in-1s are active pen compatible. And even with those that are, some screen types do and some do not support active pen technology.
If this is the current Inspiron 7420 system, note that first, it has no Linux support at all (from Dell), and second, if the pen here is the one you purchased

it's for a system that supports Microsoft's pen protocol -- which this Inspiron does not (it's a Wacom AES-compliant system).
The pen Dell recommends for this model is the PN5122W, which like the system has support only for Windows.
