How do I reclaim the deleted space in my Isilon X410
Hi
I have a Isilon storage
Cluster Name: sparky-sg-isilon (OneFS Version: 8.0.0.4
Site Id: 9626694
Version: 1.0
Generated Date: 15-Nov-2017
Cluster total storage 284TB
Space Free 20.5TB
I have backuped one 6.76TB project and deleted all the files under this project directory.
After which the Isilon still reflected the same free space.
My question to you :-
1. Is there a command that allow me to reclaim thsoe deleted spaces.

check if you have snapshot setup for the project/folder. Deleted data will be tracked under delta changes for snapshot.
check with isi_classic snapshot usage

Hello hernster,
You should see the space once completed the delete. If you were using snapshots, then you will need to delete those as well and then you should see the space. Is your Isilon in a cluster or no?
Please let us know if you have any other questions.

Same here. I deleted 45TB, the folder/share is NOT on a snapshot schedule, but the space is not freeing up. What gives?

Snapshot can be take outside the configured 'snapshot schedules', by SyncIQ, NDMP backups and the InsightIQ FSAnalyze job. Therefore take a look at the taken snapshots present on the cluster
isi snapshot list --state all
or, for the total perspective vortex:
isi snapshot list --state all --format table --verbose
