Is NDMP option effective without reboot
Hello everyone, i would like to know if i disable or enable the NDMP option on a Isilon, is it effective without reboot or not ? I read that some devices need to be rebooted to be effective but i can't find a specific info for the Isilon. Thanks.

Enabling/Disabling of NDMP does not require a reboot on Isilon.

When you connect directly to a tape library,
new hardware or connections can be detected without rebooting,
just use:
isi tape rescan
