Local SyncIQ jobs failing after 8.2.2.0 upgrade

Wondering if anyone else has seen similar behavior or knows what may be causing it, it seems like it may have occurred after upgrading to 8.2.2.0.

A local SyncIQ policy failed with the error "Source node could not connect to target cluster.".

This is a policy that has been in place and working for years.

The network settings are identical to a remote sync policy that still works.

After much investigation (including DellEMC support, who couldn't figure out the problem) i've found that the error only occurs if the target cluster "Restrict target nodes (--restrict-target-network)" is set to "Connect only to nodes within the SmartConnect zone on the target cluster". If set to "Connect to any nodes in the target cluster" it works.

Restricting target nodes still works for policies from another cluster, and always worked for local policies in the past.
