Many pool on same vlan

Goodmorning everyone,
currently in our isilon various organizations access from the outside, and each one accesses its own pools through a dedicated subnet. In your opinion, is it possible to configure all the pools of all organizations under a single subnet and have access managed by the firewall? In this case, is it possible for an organization to access the shares of another? Is security guaranteed or by putting all the pools under a single vlan do I remove a security level?
