Can I ask a question related to this ??
Is it possible if it is 0% and the charging meter says A/C . Will it cause the laptop to malfunction ??
Like the laptop freezes or hangs ? Please do reply ? Should I use the steps above too to solve this ?
Thank you in advance ^_^

If you're using a genuine, OEM Dell AC adapter and the system does recognize it (F2 at powerup to check), but the battery won't charge, most likely is that the battery is dead.

Will it cause the laptop to hang or freeze ??? When you don't have the compatible Dell AC adapter ?
The battery reaches 0% when I connect the AC adapter it only shows " A/C" but still on 0% :( and it hangs after a few minutes of using.

I am facing similar issue of plugged in charging, 0% remaining. But the battery is not getting charged. Even replacing a new battery did not yield success. BIOS shows AC adapter type as 90W and I am using original adapter which came with laptop.
