You often get a 169.xxx.xxx.xxx address when you don't get a DHCP response from your router... Did you do any updates to software or hardware recently? Does this only happen with your home router?
Check your router wireless settings to start with and maybe try a firmware update for the router.........also uninstall and reinstall the software/drivers for the wireless adapter (if its external not plugged into the computer until it asks you to plug it in)
Do you get internet if you connect a CAT-5 cable on that notebook?

When did this start?
Do other machines have the same issue?
